See Chapter 13 of eBay the Smart Way for further information. 2. The second xxx is for the description of the item. This should be an accurate factual description. It can be as long as necessary. It might be 1,000 words for a video camcorder, 5,000 words for a timeshare condo in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, or 50 words for a standard Gracie the Swan Beanie Baby. See Chapter 13 of eBay the Smart Way for further information. 3. The next xxx is the amount for shipping and handling. See Chapter 11 of eBay the Smart Way for further information. 4. The next xxx is for boilerplate. This states the standard terms for payment, business policies, and other standard information. See Chapter 11 of eBay the Smart Way for further information. 5. [optional] The next xxx is a URL for an e-commerce website where additional merchandise is sold. In addition, the zzz is for the name of the website (typically the name of the retail business). See Chapter 18 of eBay the Smart Way for further information. 6. The next xxx is a URL for a digital photograph or graphic that illustrates the item being auctioned. See Chapter 12 of eBay the Smart Way for further information. This template can also be used in conjunction with the eBay template for bulk uploads (i.e., a template within a template). This proves very handy for uploading up to 100 attractive auctions in just a few minutes. See Chapter 15 of eBay the Smart Way for further information on how to use a desktop database to do bulk uploads easily and efficiently (you don't have to be a programmer). |
